Scandic Kirkenes

Spent one night in a Standard Double Room at Scandic Kirkenes. The cleanliness of the hotel stood out immediately. My dog was welcomed without any hassle, a pleasant surprise. The receptionist was helpful, ensuring a smooth check-in process. Breakfast offered a quiet environment and a solid selection. The location is perfect, right in the center, nice for a stroll around town. The kitchen closed early, limiting dining options. It fulfilled my needs and offered good value for the stay.

the booking and transfer to the winter activities was good organised from hotel, location was perfect, the transfer to the airport is in front of the hotel

quite expensive for the comforts that offers, the breakfast was very poor comparing with other rica hotels in norway

The room was clean and quiet, and I got a real kick outta that breakfast spread-they had caviar! Now that's somethin' you don't see every day. The folks at the front desk were super helpful too. Just wished the bathroom was a bit more updated, but it did the job fine. Enjoyed the view out my window, too, right over the town!

Would have liked tea/coffee available in my room or free of charge (minimal fee), not 25 Kroner and have to go to restaurant to get.

Comfortable and clean hotel with a good restaurant and very friendly and helpful staff.Included breakfast was good. The hotel was a convenient base for the start of the Hurtigruten cruise.

The family room was perfectly sized for our group, comfortably fitting four with space to spare. The indoor swimming pool was a good escape. Breakfast offered a wide variety that was pretty good, with delicious breads and cakes that were a true highlight.

A homely atmosphere and very comfortable.

Because of a flight fault on our aircraft from Oslo we arrived at around 11.00pm. A sandwich or some small meal would have been appreciated.

The kettle in the common kitchenette was a bit inconvenient. but the swimming pool offered a great way to unwind after a long day. and the late checkout was perfect for our flight! !

Overall clean place with efficient and best staff and spectacular view over the town. Excellent and unbeatable location familiar to the specific way of ordering a cab, easy to get anywhere. And short walk to the center of the city. Really had real good stay for one night.

We arrived early, and, while our room was not ready, we were able to have coffee, fruit, and access to free internet in the lounge while we waited. It was a very kind service, especially as it was very cold outside.

the breakfast had plenty of good coffee and was freesh and filling. dinner choices for gluten free were limited.

Lovely city view from the room 😍, spacious breakfast area with multiple delicious options, and friendly staff who were always eager to assist.

it was a very good position for what we wanted. We were using it as a base prior to going on a cruise of the fjords.
